What I am working on my project now is to find the best way to present my work. I am also thinking about using 16 televisions stuck on top of each other. THerefore, each television will present one activity.

As I posted last week, I also working more on it. I am putting some of the particals to make it look like surveillance cam for example, Noise, desaturation, and the timer.

New Layout

This is an example of the layout that I am deverloping. It will be 16 screens and each other screen will show different activities.

Artist Statement Edited Version

Being an artist, inspiration is one of the main factors, which helps us to express and to pass on our ideas to the audience. This inspiration drives from many reasons. One of them is from the personal aspect from the artist. For an international student, it is a very long process and difficult to be able to come to the United States. We have to be checked and been through many processes from the US government.
After four years in United States, the feeling of being violated still remains in our mind. No matter what we do, we feel that we, to some extent, are treated as minority. Therefore, as international students, they might feel like they have no stability in living in this country. They don't know what is going to happen if they do something wrong. They have to be aware all the time. Even though we all receive good education and learn new experience, is it worth? Because the longer we live here, the more we feel like we are being controlled by others instead of controlling and being ourselves.
